Queen Nation: There is little doubt among the pure rock community that the legendary band Queen and lead performer Freddie Mercury earn high ranks as one of the most powerful and iconic groups in rock history. Queen, the kings of arena rock, performed to packed stadiums around the globe for over two decades. Freddie took showmanship by a rock front man to a new untapped level and was undisputedly crowned the lord of arena rock. He mesmerized audiences with his charismatic energy and larger than life stage persona. Upon his death in 1991, a huge void was left in the rock concert world, which to this day has not yet been matched. Queen Nation, a tribute to Queen, was formed in 2004. Queen Nation consists of: Joe Retta or Gregory Finsley on vocals & keyboards as Freddie Mercury, Mike McManus on guitar as Brian May, Pete Burke on drums as Roger Taylor, and Parker Combs on bass as John Deacon. The mission of the show is to carry on the musical torch and pay homage to the golden age of vintage Queen concerts. Queen Nation’s live 90-minute production of Queen’s greatest hits preserves the image, sound, and stage persona of vintage Queen. Audiences are amazed at the accuracy of Queen Nation’s live retrospective journey through such Queen songs as We Will Rock You – Bohemian Rhapsody – We Are The Champions – Crazy Little Thing Called Love – You’re My Best Friend – Another One Bites The Dust – Under Pressure and many more. They have performed in front of thousands of people at casinos, fairs, festivals and private affairs. For more info visit www.queennation.com.

Pablo Cruise: Thirty years ago, in 1975, Pablo Cruise released its first A&M album simply entitled Pablo Cruise. The album cover was shot in the tropical gardens of San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park and it featured a huge gorilla standing front and center. The band, David Jenkins (guitars & vocals), Cory Lerios (keyboards & vocals), Steve Price (drums) & Bud Cockrell (bass & vocals) was nowhere in sight. At that point there was a bit of a mystique as to who Pablo Cruise really was. When asked, “who’s Pablo,”the band, which is a quartet, would answer, “he’s the guy in the middle.” When asked what Pablo Cruise meant, the well-rehearsed answer went something like this, “Pablo represents an honest, real, down to earth individual; and Cruise, depicts his fun loving, easy going attitude towards life.” In essence that’s what Pablo Cruise’s music is all about – honest, real, down-to-earth vocals, accompanied by fun, yet elegant and infectious grooves. To hear Pablo Cruise on record is one thing, but to experience the band live is an exhilarating event.

From 1975 to 1985 the band toured the United States, Canada and Japan extensively, welcoming fans to “Climb Aboard The Good Ship Pablo Cruise.” Reaching the top 10 with mega hits like “Watch Gonna Do When She Says Goodbye” and “Love Will Find A Way,” and several other radio hits, the band went on to sell several million albums and singles collectively and established themselves as well respected writers and performers within the industry. They appeared on numerous TV shows, including Dick Clark’s American Bandstand, The Merv Griffin Show and in 1979 they broke Elvis Presley’s attendance record at The Sahara Tahoe in Lake Tahoe, Nevada, becoming the first rock band to play a casino showroom. They also became the first rock band to grace the stage of the Grand Ole Opry, but by 1986 after completing several national tours and releasing 7 albums in all, the band seemed to have lost its focus and just stopped. It seemed like Pablo needed some time to think. Cory Lerios and David Jenkins the bands’ principal songwriters, along with Steve Price decided to take a hiatus. A hiatus that has lasted nearly 20 years...

Throughout the late eighties, original vocalist David Jenkins continued touring with several other bands (see Dave’s bio) and pianist and vocalist Cory Lerios decided to turn his writing and producing abilities to Film and Television. (see Cory’s Bio) In June of 2004, original drummer and groove master of Pablo Cruise, Steve Price (see Steve’s Bio) was married in Sacramento, CA. For his wedding gift, he wanted to throw a concert featuring the original Pablo Cruise, calling Cory and Dave and asking them if they would be up for it. The night of “The Concert,” the band did more than just perform, it was reborn. Immediately following the show, Dave, Cory and Steve were so excited to play again; they decided right then and there they were going to make a concerted effort to raise “The Good Ship Pablo Cruise.” So .. The search began for a singing bass player.

It’s took a while to find the right guy, but in late 2009 through a referral from the great Bill Champlain (After The Love Is Gone), CHICAGO lead singer) Pablo Cruise met up with Larry Antonino, a veteran bassist and phenomenal vocalist. Larry has made records with everyone from Jeff Beck to Kenny Loggin’s (see Larry’s Bio) and his style of playing is exactly the right fit for Pablo Cruise as the band embarks on it’s most exciting year to date. In 2008 the Pablo Cruise Logo created quite a stir in the media when Will Farrell adorned a Classic Pablo Baseball Jersey in the now classic comedy “Step Brothers.” "There was so much media attention over our shirt, that is was almost embarrassing,” says lead singer Dave Jenkins. 2010 promises to be a very busy year for Pablo Cruise as it is planning a live recording of re-arrangements of their classics, including “Love Will Find A Way,” and “Whatcha Gonna Do?”

The fact that Pablo Cruise took 20 years to decide whether they wanted to work together again may be the best thing that ever happened to them. The guys are approaching this whole thing like it’s the first time they’ve ever played together. The point being is that this reunion is generating a lot of excitement within the quartet, and the beauty of it is, is that its coming from the guy in the middle... PABLO CRUISE.

Ambrosia: The year is 1970, and four young musicians from the South Bay of Los Angeles, come together to create a new invigorating style of music.

Exploring the possibilities of progressive, classical and world influences, yet rooted with the soul of the blues and R&B, Joseph Puerta, Christopher North, David Pack and Burleigh Drummond created a new sound that was defined and recognized as “Ambrosia”.

Originally labeled as America’s answer to the progressive invasion of such English acts as “Yes” and “King Crimson”, the group quickly proved it was that and more as it’s albums painted aural landscapes covering the gamut of musical styles and attracting the collaboration of such cultural icons as, Leonard Bernstein, Kurt Vonnegut Jr., and Alan Parsons.

In it’s brief recording history, Ambrosia garnered 5 Grammy Nominations, 5 Hit Singles, Heavy radio airplay and the admiration and respect of the musical community. All this was in addition to Sold Out concerts around the world.

Today, the band is more alive and compelling than ever with the addition of Doug Jackson on electric guitar, Mary Harris on keyboards, and the powerful and contemporary lead vocals, and acoustic guitar of Ken Stacey…Ambrosia is exploring new musical territory and continuing to wow life-long fans and new converts alike !
