The International Myeloma Foundation (IMF), the first and largest myeloma-specific foundation in the world, will present the IMF 12th Annual Comedy Celebration on Saturday, November 3 at The Wilshire Ebell Theatre.

Hosted by actor and comedian Kevin Nealon, the evening will feature a pre-show cocktail reception and silent auction, two-hour comedy show, plus a post-show reception for VIP ticket holders. This year's comedy show will include Cristela Alonzo, Gabriel Iglesias, Jim Jefferies, Natasha Leggero, Chaunté Wayans and Sasheer Zamata. All performers are subject to availability.

The evening will also honor Dr. Robert A. Kyle for his contributions to the myeloma community as a doctor, researcher, and professor of medicine.

Since its inception in 2007, the event has brought over 50 celebrity comedians and musical performers to raise funds and awareness in support of the Peter Boyle Research Fund, named for the late actor who succumbed to multiple myeloma in 2006. For the fifth year, the event also supports the IMF’s signature Black Swan Research Initiative® (BSRI), a groundbreaking and collaborative global project aimed at developing the first definitive cure for myeloma.

Kevin Nealon: Hi there! Since I’m not into ‘twittering’ or ‘tweating’ yet (only ‘twitching’) I will catch you up here. First of all, thanks for checking with my website. I have been staying busy lately finishing voiceovers for the first season of ‘Glenn Martin DDS,’ which will air on Nick at Night. It is basically a claymation show and I play Glenn Martin DDS and Catherine O’Hara plays my wife. We travel around the country in an RV with our dysfunctional family getting into all kinds of unfortunate situations. I think the show is hilarious and I’m very excited for it’s debut this August. In the meantime I am enjoying doing stand up comedy around the country. (Check my website to see if I will be near you soon.) My first one-hour stand up special will air soon and the film I shot last year in New Zealand, “They Came From Upstairs,” will be premiering July 31st. I also look forward to shooting our fifth season of ‘Weeds’ this April and that will air probably near the end of July. If you consider yourself an intellectual and prefer not to watch TV or go to movies you can pick up my book, “Yes, You’re Pregnant but What About Me?’ It came out last summer and surprisingly still holds up.

I love animals and have been involved with raising awareness about animal abuse over the years with organizations like PETA, Fund for Animals and In Defense of Animals. I also love helping local animal shelters with fund raisers and take every opportunity (including this one) to spread the word about the importance of spaying and neutering pets, and urge everyone to always adopt animals from shelters instead of buying them in pet stores.

Natasha Leggero: Natasha Leggero is originally from Rockford, IL, but has traveled the world enough to mask this unfortunate fact. After graduating from Hunter College in New York City and studying at the Stella Adler Conservatory, she moved to Los Angeles and started doing stand-up comedy. For the past five years, Natasha has performed stand-up all over the country and abroad. Her stand-up performances include appearances on "The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson," Comedy Central's "Premium Blend," The Comedy Factory" on Dutch television and two appearances on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno."

Natasha has played various deviants in her three-year re-curring stint on Comedy Central's "Reno 911". She has also reoccured  on FOX's "Til Death" and is a regular panelist on "Chelsea Lately on E!".  She has starred in pilots for NBC 2007's "Comedy Colosseum," Comedy Central's 2006's "Gay Robot," and was the star of MTV's hit series "The 70's House."  She has guest-starred on "It's always Sunny in Philidelphia", "Samantha Who" , "Aqua Teen Hunger Force" , "Worst Week" and most recently "The Sarah Silverman Program". You can also see her in the movie "He's Just Not that into You" due out this Winter.

Gabriel Iglesias: Known as the "fluffy" comic in the Hawaiian shirt, comedian Gabriel Iglesias says he gets his material from things that happen every day. His comedy style - telling stories with characters and sound effects that bring all of his personal issues to life - has entertained audiences on numerous televisions shows and in comedy clubs all over the country. Gabriel recently made it to the finals on NBC's current season of "Last Comic Standing," winning the Capitol One award for audience favorite. Born in San Diego and raised primarily in Long Beach, CA, Iglesias got his big break on the Galavision television show "Que Locos!," which led to a comedy tour of sold-out performances all over the country. Television roles soon followed, with Iglesias guest-starring on "My Wife & Kids" and "Resurrection Boulevard," and performing stand-up in his own comedy special "Comedy Central Presents: Gabriel Iglesias," as well as on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," "Jimmy Kimmel Live," "Good Morning America," "Showtime at the Apollo" and "ComicView." Additional television credits include "Premium Blend," "Comic Remix," "Make Me Laugh" and the "Latino Laugh Festival." He won a Kid's Choice Award as a regular performer in the Nickelodeon show "All That," and won the Comedy Central & Comcast Cable's Comedy Special of the year in 2003. In 2004, 2005 and 2006, he was voted into the Top 25 of Comedy Central's "Standup Showdown." On the big screen, Iglesias has appeared in the films "El Matador" and "The Surfer King," and he also has a CD entitled "Picachu…I See You." Gabriel can be seen headlining nationally across the country, and when in Los Angeles, can be seen at the Improv, the Ice House, the Comedy and Magic Club, and many others. Chaunte' Wayans: After enjoying several years in production, Chaunte’ realized that she had a gift and a calling...stand-up comedy. Soon after her cousin, Damon Jr. stepped into the stand-up comedy scene, something sparked in Chaunte’ making her realize that this too was for her! Her Uncle Shawn Wayans then took the time to teach and develop Chaunte’for stage performance and delivery. He took his young niece under his wings and in the words of the Wayans family, "Helped her find her funny.”

Among having the opportunity to open for her Uncle Shawn and Damon on tour, she’s become a regular at the Comedy Store (Hollywood,CA); moreover, she has spread her comedy from coast to coast including local venues in Seattle, Oregon, and Michigan. Not only does she always bring the funny, but she has been known for her dynamic hosting skills. While her weekly show called “Chaunte’s Comedy Corner” was a success, she continues to intrigue fans of comedy from all over. Chaunte’s charisma has also made its way to the famous chain of Improv Comedy Clubs located in New York, Hollywood, and Texas.
